April 6, 2010, TREB Market Watch -- The Toronto Real Estate Board (TREB) reported record breaking first quarter sales with 22,418 sales for the Greater Toronto Area during the month of April. In Newmarket (TREB District N07) alone, there were 215 active homes for sale in Newmarket with 181 sales averaging $372,693. Of the 215 homes for sale in Newmarket, there were 149 detached homes. Of these 149 detached homes for sale in Newmarket, 100 sold with an average price of $434,580. Also included in the total number of homes for sale in Newmarket were semi-detached homes. There were 29 active semi-detached homes for sale in Newmarket, all 29 semis sold averaging $309,931. Condo apartments had 12 sales with an average price of $232,367 and there were no link homes for sale in Newmarket. There were 16 Condo town homes for sale in Newmarket which had 13 sales and an average price of $274,338. Finally in Newmarket Real Estate, there were 27 attached town homes for sale in Newmarket, all 27 sold with an average price of $320,615.
