May 5, 2010, TREB Market Watch -- The Toronto Real Estate Board (TREB) reports a record breaking 34% increase in sales over April 2009. There were a total of 260 new listings of homes for sale in Newmarket during April. There were 176 Newmarket Real Estate sales with an average price of $391,213. Included in the total number of homes for sale in Newmarket are 184 detached homes with 113 sales and an average price of $439,462. Also included in these Newmarket Real Estate totals are 21 semi-detached homes for sale in Newmarket, all 21 semis sold with an average price of $323,914. Additonally in Newmarket Real Estate, Condo apartments had 5 sales averaging $256,600 and link homes had 2 sales averaging $299,500. Condo town homes for sale in Newmarket had 13 sales and an average price of $280,214. Finally in Newmarket Real Estate, 16 out of 22 attached town homes for sale in Newmarket sold, with an average price of $312,150.
