June 3, 2010 TREB Market Watch -- For May 2010, the Toronto Real Estate Board (TREB) has reported GTA (Greater Toronto Area) home prices are up 13% from May 2009. TREB also reports 9,470 sales during May 2010 - a 1% drop in sales compared to May 2009. In Aurora Real Estate alone (TREB district N07), there were a total of 265 homes for sale, 108 sold averaging $469,493. Included in these totals were 192 detached homes for sale in Aurora. Of these 192 detached homes for sale in Aurora, 65 sold with an average price $545,987. Also included in these Aurora Real Estate totals were semi detached homes. There were 19 semi detached homes for sale in Aurora. Of the 19 semi detached homes for sale in Aurora, 74% (14) sold with an average price of $320,600. Condo apartments had an average price of $261,000 with 4 sales. There were 2 link homes for sale in Aurora, both sold averaging $435,000. Finally in Aurora Real Estate, there were 17 condo town homes for sale in Aurora, 10 sold with an average price of $451,590 and there were 29 attached town homes for sale in Aurora, with 14 sales averaging $338,057.
