July 6, 2010, TREB Market Watch -- The Toronto Real Estate Board (TREB) reports the year-to-date sales through June are up a record-breaking 23% compared to 2009. In Newmarket Real Estate for the month of June, there were 262 active listings. Of the 262 homes for sale in Newmarket, 148 sold averaging $391,339. Included in these totals were 171 detached homes for sale with 93 sales and average price of $446,307. Also included in these Newmarket Real Estate totals were semi detached homes. There were 32 semi detached homes for sale in Newmarket, 17 sold averaging $317,294. Also in Newmarket Real Estate, condo apartments had 8 sales with the average price being $237,153. Finally in Newmarket Real Estate, there were 14 condo town homes for sale in Newmarket, 10 sold averaging $271,468 and there were 28 attached town homes for sale in Newmarket with 20 sales averaging $318,445.
