June 5, 2012 TREB Market Watch -- The Toronto Real Estate Board (TREB) has reported 10,850 MLS transactions during May 2012 – up 11% from May 2011. TREB also reports sales growth was strongest in the ‘905’ area codes surrounding the City of Toronto. In Newmarket Real Estate alone, there were a total of 214 homes for sale, 189 sold averaging $453,046. Included in these totals were 182 detached homes for sale in Newmarket. Of these 182 detached homes for sale in Newmarket, 122 sold with an average price $509,216. Also included in these Newmarket Real Estate totals were semi detached homes. There were 36 semi detached homes for sale in Newmarket. 30 of the semi's sold with an average price of $375,603. Condo apartments had an average price of $266,944 with 9 sales. Finally in Newmarket Real Estate, there were 14 condo town homes for sale in Newmarket, all 14 sold with an average price of $312,750 and there were 26 attached town homes for sale in Newmarket, all 13 sold averaging $392,285.
