March 5, 2012, TREB Market Watch -- The Toronto Real Estate Board (TREB) reported February 2012 sales up 16% compared to February 2011 and the average sale price was up 11% due to tight market conditions. During the month of February, there were 307 active homes for sale in Newmarket, 186 homes sold with an average price being $675,671. Of the 307 homes for sale in Newmarket, 105 were detached homes with 70 sales and an average price of $853,825. There were 26 semi-detached homes for sale in Newmarket, 18 sold with the average price being $380,400. Also in Newmarket Real Estate, there were 12 Condo apartments for sale, 5 sold averaging $256,600. Additionally, there were 2 link homes for sale in Newmarket , both sold averaging $315,000. 7 condo town homes sold with an average price of $314,143. Finally in Newmarket Real Estate, there were 19 active attached town homes for sale in Newmarket, 17 sold with an average sale price of $384,641.
